Questions

Are collaborators a part of the template?

Collaborators added to a template for edits will stay on the finalized version of the template. They will be notified if you reopen or void the template.

However, they are not templatized—which means, when you use the template to create a new Word or eSign document, collaborators from the finalized template will not be added to your new document.

Do added approvers and eSigners have access to the template?

Any added approval and eSign workflows are saved with your template. However, the added approvers and eSigners do not have access to the template.

They will get access to the Word or eSign document you create using the template once you Conclude or send that document for eSigning.

Who can see my finalized templates?

The document owner and any collaborators added to a template will be able to see the finalized template.

Can a finalized template be edited?

Yes, you can edit a finalized template. To do so, you will need to reopen it for edits. Learn more about reopening a template for edits.
